Aldeburgh Primary School

Class 3

Hi Everyone

Welcome back to the summer term. This term there are lots of exciting things happening. As we are through to the semi-final of the Bee competition for the Suffolk Farming School of the Year, we will be having a day at Trinity park taking part in lots of different activities.

Our topic this term is Mountains, Rivers and Coasts. Although we won't be climbing any mountains we will be exploring our local river - the River Alde - and our coastline here in Aldeburgh.

We will be involved in making a film about the environment, which will be shown at Aldeburgh Cinema. There will be an arts week and a celebration of the Queens' platinum jubilee too.

Hi Everyone

Welcome back and hope you all had a lovely Christmas holiday.

This term our topic is all about the Shang Dynasty. As you can see from our termly overview we will also be finding out about Chinese music, Chinese art and even how to speak some Mandarin Chinese!!

We will also be spending a week finding out about bees ready for our entry into the Suffolk School Farm and Country Fair.

Don't forget to regularly check in to see pictures of what we have been getting up to.

Hello Everyone!

It is so lovely to see you all back at school.

We have lots of lovely things planned for this term. As you can see from the term overview, our topic this term is Stone Age to Iron Age. We have a visit to Ipswich Museum where we can meet a woolly mammoth! We will also be going on a rock hunt.
